Font resarch

The pursuit

This would not work very well as an action film font as it is not eye catching enough to attract potential audience members but would rather suit a film of the drama genre as it would be taken more seriously

The Pursuit

This font certainly bold enough to work for our film it’s not quite what we are looking for as letters like the p is not as sharp as we are after in comparison to the font below.

THE PURSUIT

I like the recognition you get with this font and the connotation of the army it hold, because of this I think it should be considered for our font. On the other hand the audience may associate this font with other movies like “The A Team” which also uses a similar font and so may result in the film not standing out as well as it could using a different font.

The Pursuit

This font although very aesthetically pleasing would not work with the convention of action film font being very bold and different a convention of the genre we are keen to adhere to.

The Pursuit

This font contains all the keen elements that we are looking for in our film, the boldness helps the film name stand out while the broken lines give the effect of danger we are keen to convey with our film.

The Pursuit

This font would also work well for our action film or a film of a similar genre, it has the boldness that would make it easily identified by audiences` when comparing the this one with the one above, would decide against this one in favour for the other one.
