audience profiling

Taken

Taken was released as an 18 something that is rarely seen in the movies word today as it alienated the a majority of people aged 15 to 24 that have the time and disposable income to spend at the cinema, for an action film Taken also appealed to more female viewers than another film audience profiling I have looked at with 46% this suggests that there is something in this film that appeals to woman this will be important for our group to find out and recreate as trying to appeal of woman in an action film is very stereotypically hard to do. the film also appeals to a wide range of people with it split equally around the social class groups with the exception of C1 which are always the more dominant of the categorises as well as this the film appeals to a wide range once you get above the ages of 12-14 which can be explained with the fact that it is an 18. when taking in to account that the film wasn’t a commercial success and just made a profit the film developed a cult following with most of its money being made is dvd sales after the initial realise.

looper

Lopper staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis again rated very highly among our target audience of 15-24 year olds but failed to draw in the 25-34 audience possibly because Joseph Gordon-Levitt appeals to the younger audience of 15-24 whereas Bruce Willis would appeal to the older generation of 35-44, the second highest, as Bruce Willis is a very stereotypical action hero from the diehard franchise, and so neglecting the 25-34 age group. Something in our film we should learn form and try to draw in the 25-34 age group by using characters that are well known throughout the age ranges. This film also lacks female viewers but this is stereotypical to the genera with Taken as an abnormality.

Casino Royal

Casino Royal was the 21st film out of now 23 in the james bond franchise , it was the first james bond film in 4 years and the first with the current james bond Daniel Craig
